Asslamualiekum

The administration and staff of Dar Al-Huda wish that you had an eventful and beneficial summer break. It is now time to start a new year with fresh faces and heightened energy and focus. Below you will find a list of important days for the first semester of the year.

I would like to call your attention to some fees that you will need to pay this year.   

Book Fee: $50.00 for Arabic and Islamic Studies books. Please make checks payable to: Dar Al-Huda School.

Uniform Fee (girls): $20.00 navy blue skirt. Pleas make sure your daughter always wears her uniform to school.

Late Fee: $5.00 for every family who attempts to enter school after 10:00 AM. Families will need to proceed to the office to pay the fee and obtain a pass to present to the teacher.

Aug 30th	First day of school- from 9:45-1:00
Sep 6th	Ramdan Mubarak- Regular full day from 9:45-3:00
Sep 27th	Lailat Al Qadr- School is off Please use this time to increase your Ibada as ajir is multiplied during this night. "Verily this month has come to you; and therein is a night which is better than a thousand Months. Whosoever is deprived of it, is deprived of all good; and none is deprived of its good except a totally unfortunate person". (Ibn Majah)
Oct 4th	Longer day due to Eid celebration. Day begins at 9:45 with a full day of school.  From 2:00-3:30 Eid celebration
Nov 29th	Thanksgiving- Full day of school
Dec 13th	Field Trip day for Eid. Details will be announced later.
Dec 27th	No School due to winter break
Jan 3rd	No School due to winter break
Jan 31st	Report cards sent home
